The volume documents the rediscovery of Gianmaria Lepscky (1897-1965), a Venetian painter who had great notoriety before falling into oblivion from which he has recently been recovered thanks to two large retrospectives (2011 Complesso Monumentale San Paolo di Monselice and 2012 Monastero di Santa Maria in the Cividale del Friuli Valley). The monograph contains texts by Manlio Gaddi and Laura De Zuani, the biographical chronology, the recent bibliography and over two hundred reproductions of works, with ample space for studies and sketches for frescoes in churches and military ossuaries.
