Description
The sculptor Luigi Mainolfi tells himself to the philosopher Gian Alberto Farinella through themes and images. A contemporary “classic” that, among a multitude of concepts, words, works and stories, arranged alphabetically and often in the form of dialogue, reflects on the artist’s profession and on his own work. The result of a year-long daily attendance, the structure of the book is similar to a dictionary, of which the individual items include questions and answers, as well as comments or considerations on the situation during the interview. The interventions, often serious, sometimes ironic, fully reveal unpublished aspects of Mainolfi’s life and work.
