Description
Con il senno di poi represents a rethinking of drifting texts found during a moving operation: they floated lost in an empty time, irrelevant and incomprehensible if taken one by one, but significant if referable to an existential continuum. In some cases, visionaries and narrative ideas, digressions, counter-points, trespassing have been added.
The book begins with a goat and ends with a horse, but in between are lions, fish, dogs and other animal creatures. Some chapters are independent, they could be detachable files. The book is the result of a recovery of drifting texts floating in the empty and restless time of a move. The restlessness, reaffirmed in the cruel isolation of quarantines, has produced visionary and trespassing, digressions and counter-points in the stories. The goal is to reconcile criticism with narration by accepting that the artistic object denies the sensitivity of the beholder: for this reason, in addition to historical documents, the author considers the importance of clues, of disorganized fragments, of this which is generally silenced in the experience of the encounter with art.
