The volume is aimed at art therapists and operators engaged in prevention and treatment with adolescents: child neuropsychiatrists, psychologists, educators, teachers. The experience described here, carried out according to a multidisciplinary model in the Psychiatric Day Hospital of the Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital in Turin, is part of a search for expansion and refinement of the treatment possibilities that adolescent neuropsychiatry is currently called to offer. to face the new emerging problems, in particular the withdrawal behaviors. From an initial laboratory experimentation of visual arts, thanks to a work of reflection on the cases and on the progress of the activity, a real clinical device has been outlined, usable individually or in groups, with therapeutic value, in what a reparative and vivifying path, within which the children rediscover the meaning of their existence and the value of meeting others.
