Description
The volume contains choral reflexions and examples of laboratory practices conducted by the members of the Education Departments of the ZonArte Network starting from 2010. The texts by Flavia Barbaro and Giorgia Rochas (GAM, Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art), Orietta Brombin (PAV Parco Living Art, Experimental Center of Contemporary Art), Mario Petriccione (Merz Foundation), Anna Pironti and Paola Zanini (Castello di Rivoli, Museum of Contemporary Art) are accompanied by a large photographic gallery that documents the research carried out by ZonArte with different audiences and with experts, in national and international fora.
The volume contains the precious transdisciplinary contributions collected on the occasion of the Education_Art / Contest, conducted by ZonArte in the 2016 edition of Artissima, where a renewed meaning was sought in words that are part of the common lexicon as well as art criticism. Words such as participation, space, relationship, time, value, heritage, culture, aesthetics, ritual, language, are regenerated with a new meaning starting from the interventions of Andrea Balzola, Pasquale Campanella, Sergio Caretto, Daria Carmi, Emilio Fantin, Dino Ferruzzi , Valeria Graziano, Franco La Cecla, Nicola Ricciardi, Paolo Scquizzato, Tiziana Villani.
ZonArte, supported by the CRT Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art of Turin and now in its eighth edition with the project leader for 2017, the PAV Parco Arte Vivente, systematizes its research in the Manual, producing an important study and in-depth tool for teachers, operators and young people in training who practice and study the artistic languages addressed through practice, experimentation and relationships. Schools, academies and cultural institutions recognize in ZonArte an important, representative and authoritative point of reference for the quality of its programs and for the supra-institutional collaboration that it has been able to build over the years. In this phase of evolution of the project, of which there are no similar examples on the national and international territory, the experiences gathered are producing an interesting methodological comparison that can be developed, thanks to the Contemporary Art Education Manual and in a dimension of open dialogue. , in Academies, museums and other cultural meeting places.
