ZONARTE

Zonarte is a project intended for the community and for the dissemination of contemporary art and culture, born from the conceptual and operational collaboration between the education departments of Castello di Rivoli Contemporary Art Museum, GAM Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, Merz Foundation and PAV Parco Arte Vivente Experimental Center of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto.
Zonarte is promoted and supported by the Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art CRT, which has strengthened the planning capacity of the Education Departments, promoting dialogue and co-planning, determining the conditions for making the collaboration between the institutions pertaining to the Contemporary Art system of Turin and Piedmont, thanks to the Resò and Giorno per Giorno reviews.
Zonarte is configured as a flexible and open structure capable of containing the complexity from which it originates. Six representative departments of as many institutions, very differentiated by the specificity of the single cultural project but united by the common denominator of the art of the present time. A project and a program that not surprisingly start from Turin, attesting to a new primacy of the Piedmont area, related to the ability to innovate, to keep up with the changes taking place in contemporary society, without giving up its historical and cultural tradition.
