The book, by Roberto Goffi, photographer, friend, and longtime collaborator of Carol Rama, is dedicated to the artist’s life, collaborations, and most significant moments, with meaningful and valuable images.
Since the early 1980s, I’ve been working with Carol Rama professionally, for catalogs, publications, and exhibitions, and little by little, our acquaintance has transformed into a great friendship and mutual respect. Having attended many exhibitions, from the first ones at Giancarlo Salzano’s Gallery to recent years, it came naturally to me to take a few souvenir shots (before digital, no one obsessively photographed anything), and so, without realizing it, I’ve accumulated precious materials that document a world that is slowly disappearing, along with its protagonists.
