“Ai margini. Un’antologia di social design” brings together the experience of an action-research group, operating at the Department of Architecture and Design of the Turin Polytechnic, which has been dealing with design for social inclusion for over twelve years according to a participatory and multidisciplinary. Through the analysis of 17 design experiences conducted by the group, the volume aims to make available to anyone, expert and non-expert designers, the main evidence that emerged from the research-action work, the operating methods tested in the various contexts, the stories, the gestures, the thoughts, the looks that accompanied the practice in the field, offering a contribution to the discussion on the theme of design for social impact and on the role of the designer in the participatory innovation processes of our society.
