MARISA VESCOVO
Marisa Vescovo (1938-2016) was an art historian and critic. There are numerous exhibitions and publications she has made all over the world since the 1970s. After teaching Phenomenology of Contemporary Art for 25 years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa, as well as having curated the artistic activities of the Palazzo Bricherasio Foundation in Turin, and curated the Venice Biennale with Maurizio Calvesi in 1984 and 1986, he directed the IGAV (Garuzzo Institute for Visual Arts) for which he curated five exhibitions in China, Korea and Russia.
