SAGGESE MARCELLA
Marcella Saggese was born and lives in Turin. A poet, she also writes short stories and has worked as a developmental neuropsychomotor therapist. Her first book of poems, “Madre per sempre” (Mother for Ever) (Ed. Achille e La Tartaruga), was published in December 2015. She presented the book at various Alzheimer’s Cafés. For many years, she has participated in poetry readings and events and is a member of the board of directors of the ‘Due Fiumi’ cultural association. Her second book, “Dittamo: un fiore inatteso” (Dittany: an unexpected flower), was published by Genesi editrice in April 2018 (Murazzi Prize/Dignity of the Press). She has won several awards and is a member of the judging panel for the ‘Women Think, Women Write’ competition organized by the Centrodonna Rita Ferraris Tori in Turin.
