FERDINANDO FALOSSI
Ferdinando Falossi was a researcher of the masks. He graduated in the history of theater and performing arts with a thesis on Greek masks and collaborated with the History of Theater course at the University of Pisa. A student of Donato Sartori, he studied Commedia dell’Arte masks, crafting masks in both leather and other materials. He conducted many years of specific research on the morphology and technology of classical Greek theater masks.
He led workshops and created masks for numerous theater companies and theater schools, including Zingaro, Footsbarn Traveling Theatre, La Bottega del Teatro di V. Gassman, La Città del Teatro, and, recently, for the production Esse-dice by Gipi-Sacchi di Sabbia.
