EDOARDO DI MAURO
Art critic and cultural promoter, he has been Director of the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and professor of “History and Methodology of Art Criticism”, “Methodologies and Techniques of Contemporary Art” and “Theory and Practices of the Enhancement of Cultural Heritage “.
From 1994 to 1997 he was artistic co-director of the GAM – Modern Art Gallery and of the Turin Civic Museums.
He has founded and he was Artistic Director of the MAU – Museum of Urban Art of Turin and Curator of the BAM – Biennial of Modern and Contemporary Art of Piedmont.
He has curated hundreds of exhibitions in Italian and European public and private spaces.
For Prinp Publishing he published in two editions, 2013 and 2015, the essay “Vocazione e Progetto. Storia ed attualità della Critica d’Arte”, a contribution that joins the extensive publication of catalogs and essays edited by him i forty years, from 1984 to 2024.
