She studied at Burg Giebichenstein, Hochschule f\u00fcr Kunst und Design (University for Art and Design), in Halle an der Saale, Germany, where she graduated in 2004 with Prof. Ulrich Reimkasten in painting and graphics. Later on she attended various workshops on glass techniques in Bild-Werk Frauenau and Berlin Glass (Germany), Fundaci\u00f3 Centre del Vidre (Spain), S12 Galleri Og Verksted (Norway) and Pilchuck Glass School (USA) - with a scholarship from the Alexander Tutsek Foundation.\u2028Vitari\u2019s projects are based on a study of \u201ctotal institutions\u201d (E. Goffman): a graphic documentation evoking a confrontation between single stories and the institution, as part and mirror of society itself. PERCORSOGALERA (2008-2009) was realized inside Turin\u2019s penitentiary Lorusso e Cutugno . Le Citt\u00e0 Invisibili (2012-2013) in Barcelona in collaboration with the Cultural Association Radio Nikosia, the first Spanish radio station organized by people who have been diagnosed with mental diseases. The project was carried out with the sponsorship of Derix Glas Studios (Germany). Both projects received a grant from the Piedmont Region (Italy).\u2028Vitari is now working in Berlin, investigating through her artistic documentation the current issue of migration in Europe (Interstitial Identities). The artist is represented by Raffaella De Chirico Arte Contemporanea (Turin).
