With a secular spirit and without ever abandoning her ironic gaze, the author crosses the interior places that most impact her present: poetry, love, self-awareness and the passage of time, up to the threshold of that Elsewhere that accompanies us since birth.<br \/>\nEvery moment of the present intersects with that dark time that we call Infinity, which we look at with fear, curiosity, fatalism or, simply, clear awareness, while the time that remains urges us not to lower the sails yet.<\/p>\n<p>Grazia Valente was born in Turin, where she lives.<br \/>\nShe is the author of prose and poems, some of which have been awarded and published in magazines and anthologies.<br \/>\nIn 1999 she won the national Haiku Contest prize promoted by the Institute of Japanese Culture (Rome).
