As well as signaling the start of A PICK GALLERY\u2019s programs, this is the first solo exhibition of the German artist in Italy, although it has been possible to see his works in Turin thanks to the group exhibition\u00a0Wir nennen es arbeit \u2013 56 Berlin artists\u00a0\u2013 at the gallery Opere Scelte and to the Marso Gallery booth at Artissima.<br \/>\nThe work of Michael Conrads is ruled by important, although minimal and chaotic, dichotomies, spaces of perspectives\u2028and flat monochromes, obsessive precision and spontaneous improvisations, pictorial traditions and innovations, the rational and the irrational, mathematical resolutions and randomness, that unexpectedly turn into an elegant ensemble. The dynamic nature of his creative processes always manages to achieve\u2028a balance with the conceptual aspect.
