Umberto Ricci, born in Fusignano (Ravenna, Italy) in 1932, attended the Pedagogy and Philosophy course at the University of Turin. Since the 1950s he has been a primary school teacher. Since 1988 and for over twenty years, he has published, as an editor, numerous school texts for Petrini, De Agostini Scuola and other publishing houses.
