Photographer Arsen Revazov has been working with infrared film since 2010, exploring seemingly ordinary scenarios full of universal stories and great historical value. The book “Unseen Battlefields” includes images that portray landscapes linked to legendary battles, addressing the theme of war with an aesthetic, critical and conceptual approach. Unseen Battlefields is a project of great complexity, which develops into a book and a photographic exhibition. It tells of eleven battles: Marathon, Thermopylae, Salamis, Cannae, Pharsalus, Hattin, Lepanto, Borodino, Somme, Stalingrad and Dien Bien Phu.
