the Spanish artist Raquel Bistuer (Barcelona, 1991) tries to find correspondences between the space around her and the cosmos through her work. She reflects on what identifies us as individuals with decision- making capacities and self-determination, and what makes us part of an interconnected whole. The artist searches for points of reference in the universe, she stratifies the elements that reveal the sign of time, the signals of our passage that she observes with a kind of scientific approach. She investigates each sign, meticulously and carefully, she breaks it down and first she read it in isolation and then relating it to its surroundings.
